SENIOR PIPELINE ENGINEER (Subsea)
12 MONTHS plus
Staff OR Contract - Either acceptable.
General:
There is a requirement for Flowline/Pipeline Senior Engineers to undertake all aspects of subsea flowline and pipeline design, including but not limited to:
* system layout
* routing
* mechanical design
* installation assessments
* assessment of pipeline walking and buckling
* spool design and PLET and ITA design
The Senior Engineer will interface with other disciplines such as materials and process and will have an understanding of the key drivers that influence the flowline/pipeline and system design. Experience of HP/HT design is preferred.
The candidate should ideally be degree qualified and have proven experience in the design and installation of subsea pipelines and other aspects of subsea work. Candidate should be familiar with pipeline design codes (e.g. DNV, API) and working within a close project team environment.
Candidates will be asked to enlarge on their experience in the following areas. (any such experience will assist their application):
" XT and wellhead design, drilling interfaces
" Pipeline operation, integrity management, pigging requirements
" Foundation designs, support structures
" Subsea control system designs, operation, reliability
" Umbilical design and installation issues
" Subsea manifold/PLET/Structures and installation
" ROV tooling, intervention systems
" Well metering, flow metering systems
" Corrosion protection systems
" Material selections
" Interfaces with SPS equipment, components & tooling
" SIT testing and site testing activities
" Interaction with installation/recovery vessels
" Diverless connection systems
" Test equipment requirements, scheduling & planning
