Description
Our client, a multi-disciplinary engineering design and analysis consultancy, are looking for a Principal Engineer to join their team either in locations both in Aberdeen and Derby. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to broaden their knowledge in a challenging environment within a leading design and analysis consultancy.
The successful Principal Engineer will be responsible for performing the technical execution of the clients projects using both the post holders technical expertise and experience in engineering design and analysis. You will carry out engineering design and analysis in accordance with the clients quality and administration procedures, client requirements and statutory requirements including applicable codes and standards, whilst supervising and guiding the Engineers and Senior Engineers.
The successful Principal Engineers will have a suitable engineering degree, and proven ability in engineering design, analysis and computational mechanics. You will be chartered or close to, and have working knowledge of Abaqus, Ansys and OrcaFlex software packages.
