Job Title: Principal Secirity Consultant - DLP & Data Protection & Privacy
Location: Home based with 70% travel
This vacancy is for a principal information security consultant to join the Data Protection and Privacy (DP&P) practice. The role is to provide thought leadership and consultancy services to clients with regard to DP&P portfolio services. There will be extensive working at customer sites across the UK, so base location is flexible with a willingness to travel.
The following experience is essential:
" Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to discuss and understand the business risk of the unintentional disclosure of confidential information.
" Proven track record of providing external security consulting to clients in the area of information security, with detailed knowledge of Data Loss Prevention, with a proven track record of delivery.
" Subject Matter Expert in designing and deploying DLP solutions, including expertise in at least one vendor (Websense DSS, Symantec DLP, RSA DLP or McAfee Network and Host DLP).
" Expert working knowledge of and experience of deploying another Data Protection & Privacy solution; Public Key Infrastructure, Enterprise Rights Management or Database Security).
" Ability to identify customer security issues and map security solutions and services against those risks.
" Awareness of the trends and issues in Information Security.
The successful candidate will be a proven architect level security consultant looking to enhance their career . A CISSP or other security qualification is desirable as well as vendor certification, or equivalent professional experience.
Successful candidates may be assigned to a wide range of assignments, depending on expertise and group requirements to clients across both the public and private sector.
This is a role which requires full mobility and hence the candidate must be able to drive.
