Description
Leading Defence organisation currently seeking a DBA / Database Administrator with strong Oracle skills to work on the Hampshire / Berkshire border between Basingstoke and Reading.

This roel requires candidates to undergo ful MOD security clearance
Skills Required:
Oracle DBA

You will have proven skillls working in a proactive operational IT role in a large commercial company with responsibility for database management and development of IT services
Significant skills with IT technical disciplines
Working as part of a technical team or technical support role
Able to provide comprehensive documentation

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the full life cycle support of all nominated corporate databases and associated software products and services, spanning production, pre-production and development environments. To provide end-to-end application support, ensuring that supported services meet and better performance targets agreed and documented in service level agreements. Primary support is focused around Oracle database technologies, although a number of generic platforms and mid-tier services are also supported.
