Security Consultant.
Our client is a market leading Network/ IT security solutions provider. We are looking to recruit a security consultant who is ideally already SC cleared, or as a minimum is SC clearable. Working on a major defence client site you will have a minimum of 12 months experience of HMG/ Defence market working experience on varied IT security projects.
You will have an excellent understanding of IT security management and assurance practices - and still be a very hand on practitioner - with an awareness of emerging and new trends in the IT security market place.
Your approach will be very solutions based, and as such you will have shown a consultative end client working practices in your previous experiences - indeed you will have direct knowledge of providing security solutions to all aspects of IT security threats, with particular insight into design, data flow, connectivity and configuration issues.
With this hands on and consultative approach, you will bring an ability to create security policies and all related documentation. You will therefore have experience of SPF, JSP440, HMG IS standards and CESG best practise guides. This will also require the candidate to be able to show solid risk assessment, security audit and relevant accreditation procedures. If you can also bring CLAS certification or indeed ITPC or CISSP qualifications to your experiences as a security consultant within a HMG/ Defence environment - however experience of RMADS documentation is essential to your application.
