Description
My client is a world leading provider of online gaming & player management systems to the Bingo, casino, poker & instant win markets. Due to the acquisition of a number of new major projects this multi award winning company is looking to expand their London office and hire a number of new Quality Assurance Test Engineers with stong skills in automated testing and Selenium.
Purpose of Role
A strong, hands on working technical understanding of Agile testing methodologies with Linux, Java, Flash, automatic testing i.e. Fit test and code revision control systems. We are particular interested in experience of testing large transactional database.
This role will require confidence and an ability to liaise with all levels of staff within the business.
Key Responsibilities
" Research and build testing frameworks and plan implementation of processes personally
" Championing testing excellence and building QA competencies into your collaborative multi-disciplined teams.
" Champion and consistently improve QA within your team through promotion of automated testing
" Understanding the compliance, security and load issues for an offshore regulated gaming site based on a high volume financial transactional Database. Production of the required documentation for releases and compliance and communication with all stakeholders of issues and risks.
" To ensure the release delivers applications of a quality that meet business requirements, are valuable to the end users and are fit for purpose
" Produce accurate, clear and concise documentation, using Twiki and\or standard Microsoft Office tools
" The need to go through general and specific training as and when required by your manager
" To keep open and continual communications with your manager and your team with regard to workload and projects
" To work on any other reasonable task requested by your senior manager
Ideally you will have knowledge of online gaming, intranets and online financial systems
This role will require confidence and an ability to liaise with all levels of staff within the business. You will posses a quality orientated attitude with attention to detail and be self motivated with a proven ability to work to tight deadlines.
