Senior Development Manager - iGaming - Sweden
My client is a market leading gaming systems company, they are currently seeking a Software Development Manager/Project Manager to join their offices in Gothenburg, Sweden. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established gaming brand reporting directly to the CIO.
As a member of the management team you will be involved in strategically managing product development as well as performance of people within their product area. The successful Project Manager/Software Development Manager will be accountable for ensuring that the products are enhanced and evolve technically to support the business vision and strategy. You will be responsible for project delivery and will work with the project management and team leads to safeguard delivery as well as quality of products.
Responsibilities:
To coordinate and manage the software development team overseeing all aspects of the team ensuring they are equipped with the required skills and effective feedback loops to deal with motivation and non-performance appropriately.
To work closely with third party developers, managing stakeholders and vendors.
To work with the senior management team to prioritise work, establish and develop a product delivery strategy that ensures the project delivery dates are agreed and achieved and a framework for predictable, repeatable delivery is maintained.
Develop and maintain frameworks which enable improvement in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Requirements:
Strong Software Development and Project Management background with experience of leading teams within an agile environment and have a credible track record of delivery.
Comfortable presenting and reporting at board level.
Strong relationship management skills and ability to develope teams.
Excellent Project management skills / exposure to agile / scrum methodologies.
Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle.
Willingness to travel internationally.
This is a fully English speaking speaking role however Swedish language skills are a pre-requisite for this opportunity which will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
