Description
My client is a world leading provider of online gaming & player management systems to the Bingo, casino, poker & instant win markets. Due to the acquisition of a number of new major projects this multi award winning company is looking to expand their London office and hire a number of new Front End Java, CSS, HTML Programmers.
You will be an experienced front end Software Engineer with experience of taking projects from insertion to completion. This exciting opportunity will see you taking a key role within a team developing new web fronts on top of the existing gaming platform for joint venture sites.
My clients Front End Developers share a passion for technology, their jobs & a dedication to see the projects to completion in a timely, accurate & efficient manner. You will demonstrate a quality orientated attitude with particular attention to detail. Being self motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines goes without saying, as does being an effective communicator within your close knit team & with project managers.
Passion, determination and a willingness to think & work outside the box are considered as important as technical knowledge.
Experience within an iGaming environment would be beneficial but not essential.
Skills & Capabilities:
Essential:
" HTML
" JavaScript
" CSS
" Java
Desirable:
" Experience of software integration with Third Parties
" Flash and Action Script
" Knowledge of common frameworks such as Struts, Spring, Tapestry
" Experience of working in a continuous integration environment would be an advantage
" Knowledge of at least one IDE such as Eclipse or Intellij
" Understanding of gambling / gaming systems
" Knowledge of Content Management Systems
" Use of source control (e.g. CVS, Subversion)
" Knowledge and use of continuous integration
" Knowledge other front end languages and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Django and Zend
