SAP System Administrator
My client, a global blue chip technology consultancy requires an SAP System Administrator with English & French language skills.
The SAP System Administrator will have the following responsibilities:
- Ensure that the system architecture is aligned to support the SAP system
landscape.
- Responsible for the system stability, performance and availability
- Advises on system security concepts and secure implementation of SAP systems
- Knowledge of the authorisation concepts of SAP
- Perform the installation of SAP system modules & upgrades of system modules
- Provide technical support for the implementation of error fixes, patch level upgrades and
- SAP upgrades and updates
- Perform configuration of SAP systems (SAP modules and the related server
infrastructure)
- Provide server infrastructure optimisation
- Preparation of system testing, solutions deployment in production mode.
- Definition of infrastructure test scenarios before solution testing or deployment
- Development and administration of batch jobs/jobnets
- Data base and system monitoring, service level reporting
- Knowledge transfer to the Agency staff
The SAP System Administrator will have the following skills:
- Knowledge of the SAP Solution Manager
- Knowledge of the SAP Transport System
- Proven knowledge of administering SAP systems
- Knowledge of Windows 200x server
- Knowledge of RDBMS (MaxDB and MS SQL server and/or Oracle)
- English Language skills
- French or German language skills would be a distinct advantage
