Description
Our global automotive OEM client located in Bedfordshire are currently seeking a Performance Planning Test Engineer with Noise Vibration & Harshness (NVH) capability to join them on a rolling 12 month contract basis.
Job Title: Performance Planning Test Engineer - NVH
Location: Bedfordshire
Length: 12 months +
Rate: £26ltd + 1.5 Overtime over 39 Hours
Mission and Main Objectives:
Vehicle NVH and isolation performance planning and test.
To lead and support research and vehicle program activities using CAD tools and prototype vehicle.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Setting NVH Targets.
Deploy system / component target to achieve vehicle NVH.
Liaise with other Engineering Functions.
Conduct system part / components and vehicle tests to measure objective data and assess subjectively.
Responsible for the analysis of test data and for issuing reports.
Background & Capability:
Degree qualified or similar qualification
Proven automotive capability is essential
Has capability with vehicle design and/or test
Understanding of NVH and isolation theory, fluid mechanics principles.
Good logical reasoning
