Electrical Design Engineer (EDS)
Warwickshire (other locations available)
Exciting opportunity for an EDS Engineer with our leading automotive client based in Warwickshire. As the successful candidate, your role will include:
" Responsibility for all the engineering design and validation aspects of the electrical distribution during vehicle launch phases and volume production
" Transforming 3D virtual designs and models into fully-engineered harness product
" Producing electrical/mechanical proposals for EDS Component parts
" Specification of components
" Generation and validation of robust engineering solutions
" Demonstrating product integrity through calculation or modelling
" Ensuring harnesses are suitable for manufacture and
installation
You will need to demonstrate the following:
" Educated to HND/degree level, or equivalent, in a Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering discipline
" Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and circuits
" Demonstrable understanding of AC/DC electrical principles
" Have worked in an APQP environment
" Excellent communication skills
" Prepared to travel overseas
" Have a sound understanding of the harness manufacturing processes
" Team Player
