The Communication Systems team is crucial to the ongoing success of our business and we are currently recruiting Systems Design Engineers to join this function. Working from our Crawley HQ, the role will focus on systems design, from customer requirements analysis through to acceptance of Naval radio systems. This includes the production of robust RF systems designs, documentation (ISO/CMMI), input into bid and project teams and liaising closely with stakeholders, both internal and external.
As Systems Engineer, you will have expertise in technical systems design, particularly radio frequency communication systems (RF, HF, VHF). Drawing up accurate and detailed documentation will be a key task as will working closely with team members to come up with innovative and viable solutions.
An appreciation of working in a project environment is vital, adhering to budgets (time and cost), working closely with the team in a matrix capacity, and utilising robust planning and reporting to track progress.
