Project Manager / Expeditor - Aerospace Wolverhampton 6 Months Contract Up to £25ph Ltd

The role requires an enthusiastic individual reporting to the Project Manager to take responsibility for business and customer reporting systems associated with the System Development, Qualification, Demonstration and Initial Production phases.

Principal Accountabilities:

The job holder will support the Programme Management tea m to support the business and customer reporting systems associated with the System Development, Qualification, Demonstration and Initial Production phases of the project(s) they are accountable for:
•Administer Drawing Release Plan
•Co-ordinate Engineering Drawing Changes
•Co-ordinate drawings production and changes between Paris, Wolverhampton and India sites
•Co-ordinate approval of drawings
•Co-ordinate drawings between supply chain and engineering
•Co-ordinate drawings between manufacture and engineering
•Produce drawing release visual management and reporting
•Co-ordinate drawings between Quality (FAI) and engineering
•Co-ordinate drawings between Assembly and engineering
•Co-ordinate Material Review Board

Personal Characteristics:
The successful candidate will have a comprehensive range of skills including;

•Good organisational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
•Excellent working knowledge of MS Project and MS Excel
•Good communication and interpersonal skill’s
•Highly motivated and able to assert self within team environment
•A background in Aerospace, Engineering and or Manufacturing would be advantageous but not essential

From time to time the successful candidate may be required by the company to perform other tasks which are not included in the above job description, but are within the capabilities of the individual and where necessary training will be given.
