Head of Customer Support
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Customer Support with our client, a large and growing Electronics company in the Communications market. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Customer Support function within the group and achieving the growth and margin targets expected by the business and the turn around times agreed with its customers.
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and will have a background in the defence industry preferably with exposure to the support of products that are similar to those provided by Communication Integrated Systems and must be able to demonstrate the following:

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Customer Support will be a member of the Senior Management Team. The Customer Support department includes a number of CLS Managers responsible for groups of products, a number of specialist ILS engineers and general engineers. The department exists to provide in service support and sustainment for products sold.
On a day to day basis, the Head of Customer Support is accountable for the efficient and profitable operation of the department and for reporting the performance of the contracts for which is responsible for delivering. Duties include the maintenance of the discipline, wellbeing and development of its personnel. The position attracts a responsibility to grow the support business and in conjunction with the Sales & Marketing function to actively seek new opportunities in the current field of operations and in adjacent fields with which there may be synergies.
