Enterprise demand for Business Intelligence Software increases demand for Software Sales candidates
As always, at the end of the financial year, organisations
across the UK have been celebrating their successes and enjoying
the rewards that their great achievements have brought. But it's
not all fun and games, and as the champagne bottles lie empty about
their feet, the daunting task of setting out budgets and strategies
for the year ahead begins.
For most organisations in the private sector, the end of year is
about analysing business performance, formulating future strategies
and undertaking a thorough review of how to ensure maximum ROI
while staying ahead of the competition. Alternatively, for those
organisations in the public sector, it's all about ensuring maximum
results from minimum expenditure (saving tax payer’s money). This
is where Business Intelligence (BI) Software is proving its
worth.
But what exactly does it do?
The best BI Software in the market today uses scorecarding,
reporting, dashboarding and real-time monitoring to statistically
portray exactly how a company is performing. It will analyse all
the available results, report on how the present position occurred
and even suggest what a future direction could look like. The most
useful aspect of this system is that everything is centralised and
managed from one place.
It is true to say that BI Software is nothing new and remains in
a perpetual state of evolution. Recently it has become increasingly
robust and function-rich with BI software vendors having to focus
more than ever on bringing out more advanced and versatile
solutions. This remains a huge challenge, as keeping up with ever
changing business and regulatory requirements is no easy task.
What this means for Software Sales professionals?
When you consider that new BI Software applications are emerging
every five minutes, and that demand for this software in all
verticals across the board, is at an all time high, you can see why
competition between Software Vendors is so intense. There are more
requirements than ever for strong new business Sales Professionals
to promote these products and sniff out opportunities more quickly
than the competition. As this is a technology that will only
continue to evolve, it is certainly a 'niche' to become part
of.
ARM are always on the look out for Sales Professionals within
this arena, and whether you have ridden on the BI bandwagon for
years or have a strong presence in a particular vertical that
provides a direct route into a BI provider…we would like to hear
from you!
