PCG launches ‘pre-flight’ checklist to help clients get projects off the ground smoothly
Just engaged a freelancer? Prepare for take-off...
The Professional Contractors Group (PCG) has developed a
new checklist detailing twelve key points for a client to double
check when embarking on a project using a freelance or contract
resource. This easy reference tool acts as a convenient reminder of
the steps required to ensure the smooth running of a project.
The checklist is one of a series of educational resources
designed to help organisations maximise the benefit of the flexible
working model. It has been produced as part of PCG’s ‘Britain’s
Brain Gain’ campaign, spotlighting the rich talent pool amongst the
UK’s 1.4 million freelance workers and highlighting their £82
billion contribution to the UK’s economic output.
The checklist is available online, free of charge. PCG
encourages the community to circulate it to anyone who may find it
useful and also invites feedback via the comments facility on the
website.
