Mobile Gaming: Is this the next big thing?
According to Betting Services the UK market is currently
responsible for the largest amount of gambling transactions.
However, with the USA’s recent change in legislation now allowing
remote gambling as a regulated activity, it has been predicted that
mobile bets from the States alone will exceed $50 billion within
the coming years.
We have yet to see other countries become involved within the
Mobile Gaming
market but I am confident that we will be seeing many more Gaming
operators venturing into the Mobile space within the very near
future.
With an increasing number of people using Android devices we
should be seeing more developers looking at Android as a system on
which to develop their Mobile Platforms. Recently we have also seen
Gaming Operators moving onto developing Mobile Apps for Blackberry.
With Android and Blackberry devices now so popular, we are set to
see much tighter competition between them and the current mobile
leader; Apple iphone.
