ARM Directors in London to Paris cycle: training update
On June 6th 2012, ARM Directors Mike Gawthorne and Paul Martin
will begin a gruelling 300-mile, 4 day cycle ride in aid of the
Make-a-Wish
Foundation. They will attempt to raise £4,000 for this
excellent cause - if you are interested in sponsoring them, you can
find a link at the bottom this page. Already in training, Paul Martin
BLOGS about it here!
Read his first blog here.
Well, three weeks have passed since my last blog, and Mike and I
have completed our second training ride together, a crazy
high-speed blast around Portsmouth and Southsea, averaging 18.6mph,
after a long day at the office. Since this, I have completed 3 more
rides of 20, 23 and 25 miles, the last being a particularly nasty
ride in wind, rain and sleet, which has to go down as the least
pleasant cycle ride of my life so far. My training now takes a
temporary pause whilst I grab 10 days' sunshine and rest in
Barbados, before training resumes in earnest on Sunday 18th March.
Until then.....
