Knocking the walls down: The ARM office expansion – Chapter 1
Well, not quite “knocking the walls down”, but when you know
that the empty office next door is being transformed so that you
and your workmates can move into it, it’s exciting to see it
quickly transmogrify from something that looks like a contemporary
art installation about the paraphernalia of industry into an
inviting-looking, freshly-painted studio. Kudos to the landlords
for the pace of their work.
ARM is expanding. Actually we’ve been expanding steadily for as
long as I’ve been here (nearly seven years) but just lately, it’s
been a bit dizzying, in a good way. So now we’re spilling over into
the offices next door at Langstone Technology Park.
It’s an exciting time, and although we can’t talk about it in
any great detail yet, we’ve some plans for the new offices that I
know are going to cause a bit of a buzz when we formally open the
doors to the new place.
