In February Juniper Networks, known for their “best in class”
Network solutions released details of their latest innovative and
market leading products.
The QFabric range!
The QFabric is the world’s first “True Data Centre Fabric” and
is the outcome of a multi million pound research and development
programme to address the issues of a fully integrated security
solution which gives the product notable improvements in terms of
data centre speed, efficiency and scale; this is achieved by
removing legacy barriers and improving business agility.
The Stats from Juniper make impressive reading:
· 10 times faster
· Requires 27 less network devices
· Takes up 90% less data centre space
· Delivers 9% reduction in operating costs than its closest
competitor products
Juniper are clearly showing their determination to develop
products which will transform the network and Data Centre market
place.
This product is seen as a further step towards the virtualised
Data Centre, with the first product in the line already out and
making huge waves in the industry – the QFX switch.
This is an exciting time to be involved with Juniper Networks,
with the company achieving their best ever year turning over $4
billion and with expectations they will have an even better year
this year.
