ARM's 5-a-side football team raise over £300 for Macmillan Cancer Support
On Sunday 'ARM United' raised £355 for charity by
entering into the Macmillan Cancer 5-a-side football
tournament which was held last at Wide Lane sports centre.

The money was raised by ARM's staff voting on the top
goal scorer, a result that was eagerly awaited Monday morning
- Sadly predominately due to fitness issues within the team and
general lack of ability during 5 competitive games, no one
from ARM United managed to muster a goal!
Call it coincidence but when Simon Frampton was taken off pitch
and put in goal the brave players of ARM United managed to
muster their one and only point thanks to a 0-0 draw,
consequently 'Frampo' elevated himself to the top of the
sweepstake!
So not the best display of ARM's footballing
talent, putting pride aside we generated a fine
contribution of £355 to the Macmillan Cancer charity. Thank you to
all the staff at ARM who contributed, and thank you, I think? to
those who played.
