ARM newcomer wins major industry award, and two more staff walk away with finalist gongs!

ARM is proud to announce a winner and two finalists in the Institute of Recruitment Professionals Awards 2012. The lavish award ceremony in Grange REC Awards 2012St. Paul’s Hotel, London, yesterday, saw ARM International’s Sam Ferri pick up the gong for “Best Newcomer of the Year” (consultant with fewer than 18 months of experience). Sam, who is based at ARM’s International hub in our Bournemouth office, was delighted with
the award.

“I was so proud to have been nominated for the IRP Best Newcomer of the Year award and to win is by far my best professional achievement. The support I have received from ARM over the first year of my career in recruitment has been nothing short of exceptional, really providing me with a platform to be a success. I love the work that I do and helping others progress in their career inspires me to make the best of my own. It’s great to be recognised simply for working hard, enjoying my job and above all - making money!”

The Best Newcomer award is aimed at individuals who have shown true promise in their new recruitment role. According to the IRP, the winner demonstrates that he or she has made a positive impact on the business by building strong relationships with candidates and clients.

Glowing tributes from Sam’s management team come from Team Leader Amy Dougan and Managing Director of ARM International Lynda Ennis.

"Massive Congratulations to Sam Ferri! This award is well deserved for Sam who has consistently gone above and beyond expectation to exceed targets and develop a new market in the social gaming world. Sam is an important member of the 360 team in Bournemouth and all of us are immensely proud of his achievements and his impressive trophy! Well done Sam, a huge achievement for you ARM and the Bournemouth team".

Amy Dougan – Manager, International Igaming and Ecommerce and Online Technology.

"Sam’s focus is excellent and we consistently get feedback from his clients about his ability and willingness to go the extra mile in terms of understanding their culture and markets. He consistently demonstrates passion and expertise within his role and is an inspiration to people coming in to ARM without recruitment experience; he has shown what you can achieve with drive, market knowledge and an ability to simply get on with your work. It’s been a pleasure to watch him grow into his role".

Lynda Ennis – MD, ARM International.

Both Paul and Emma have excelled themselves over the last financial year and are consistently high achievers within the business.
