The cogs are rolling; ARM's extended office space & Advanced Learning suite in action!
Well, we're settled in. We're home and dry. The office is great.
It's light, quieter than our old office because it's predominantly
an area for the Support Services teams, but still with a great,
buzzy vibe. It's amazing to think that only a few weeks ago
I
blogged pictures of the new office space when it was nothing
more than a baron construction site.
I can see our Learning and Development suite from my new
desk. It's a piece of work: I'd guess it's about ten metres by
four, fully ARM branded, with a state of the art smart screen - and
it's where a lot of our award-winning L and D programme and people
development is carried out.
At the risk of waxing lyrical, for me it is sort of the heart of
ARM, certainly in terms of our internal culture: it's a place where
new staff are inducted and given the training and investment they
need to be able to do their jobs to the best of their ability, to
give them the best possible chance of succeeding in a competitive
market, and a place where our leaders of tomorrow are challenged to
become the best they can be.
So, we've now got about 15,000 square feet of space at our
Havant HQ, and we're looking to fill the new desks with people who
can help to take ARM into the next phase of our development and
expansion into new markets and new territories. Exciting times are
ahead. If your interested in careers at ARM please visit our
internal recruitment website.
