ARM's new website... less than a month old and already attracting attention!
Well, we always knew the best way to get people
to want to work for us here at ARM - whether as consultants,
account managers or senior managers, and in any capacity from
recruitment to support - is to get them into the building to meet
us and see our facilities.
Why? Because we love what we’ve got here and we really believe
that it’s great - not just within the recruitment industry, either,
but for any sector, anywhere. We think that our friendly people,
our high number of long-term employees and the overall vibe here in
the offices says a lot more than any brochure could.
So we thought….what better way to give people a window into life
at ARM than to create a bunch of videos featuring real ARM staff,
in our offices, talking honestly (unscripted) about life here? And
what about creating a new micro site to host those videos?
So that’s what we did. Spearheaded and project managed by our
marketing executive Dil Bhakar, the videos are proving very
popular, generating a lot of positive feedback from potential new
staff already. Chris Staunton, our chief web guru, made the
ARM.jobs site, and a
cast of thousands (well, about a dozen) faced down their stage
fright and spoke openly and honestly about life at ARM. Everything
from our benefits packages, to career prospects, to our parties, to
our celebrated Advanced Learning Centre is covered.
And we must have done something right because, less than a month
into its existence and ARM.jobs is a finalist in the National Online Recruitment Awards.
If we win it, I’ll be overjoyed for the marketing boys who
worked hard to put it together and the kind people of ARM who
participated in our videos. You can “meet”
them on the site here - or just come and see us if you want a
(slightly) closer encounter!
I hope you like our new careers site and what it reveals about
us. Many already have – could you be next to join our teams here at
And finally – feedback is the gift that keeps on giving. If you
like our site but think something’s missing, I know our marketing
team and our internal recruitment team would love to hear from you
– please, please share your thoughts with us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Who knows, we could be saying hello to you in person soon!
