Colerne

My first outing in the Elise went well...aside from me forgetting that the car didn't have ABS: On my first session I did a rather graceful slide off the circuit. Luckily it was just away from a coned section, so I remained on the tarmac! The other high point was a 360 degree plus spin on a rather fast (90 mph plus) left hand corner. The driver in front decided that he didn't actually want to enter the corner at the speed he had intended, so eased off; leaving me with the choice of hitting him or performing a nice lift off and spin! I chose the latter and did a rather spectacular pirouette (or two). Luckily there was lots of room.

On a more sedate note this proved to be a very positive day for the car and for me. The car didn't break and I learned that I could drive it reasonably well.
