Quality and Accreditations
ARM was founded on the quality policy statement:
"What we say is what we do"
The notion of providing a high quality, honest and
professional service has informed everything we have done, ever
since. At ARM we work to a stringent quality management system
as well as signing up to the Recruitment and Employment
Confederation (REC) code of ethics.
Our quality management system is a real process that has a
significant impact on the way our consultants and support staff do
their business. We employ a quality team who regularly poll job
seekers and clients in order to monitor customer satisfaction.
Anybody who indicates that they are “less than satisfied” with our
service will be contacted by our quality manager (or a consultant
if appropriate) within a week, so that we can learn from whatever
mistakes we may have made. We will listen, apologise and try to
improve our service if necessary.
Perhaps it is because of our determination always to listen to
our customers that the vast majority of our polled clients and
candidates are “very satisfied” or “delighted” with our
service.
Internal Policy
Our internal policy is outlined below:-
- We work closely with clients to understand precisely what
experience and skills their vacancy requires.
- We ensure that all candidates put forward are thoroughly vetted
and meet our clients’ every requirement.
- We maintain contact with our clients and contractors after a
placement has been made to ensure the satisfaction of all parties
and to learn from any delinquent situations.
- All ARM staff are customer focused, because the successful
maintenance and growth of our customer base is our future.
- Business processes are documented.
- Our business systems are comprehensive and provide good control
of vacancies, job seekers and placements. Statistical information
is readily available.

2009
Winner - People Development Business Award
We were delighted to win the first ever IRP People Development
Business Award for 2009/10. This is a recognition of the investment
that ARM has put into training and developing its staff at a time
when many organisations, regardless of their industry, are capping
budgets. Many describe what we do as "talent acquisition and
management", so we view this as evidence that we practice what we
preach - something we've always taken care to do.
Our learning and development manager Derek Goff and HR Manager
Samantha Templer have put a lot of work into ARM's
industry-recognised staff development programme, and this is a
reflection of their hard work.
