Les Duncan

Managing Director, ARM

 

Les has extensive experience of working in specialist recruitment as the Managing Director for one of the UK’s largest IT recruiters for 5 years, where he was responsible for teams of over 200 IT recruiters working across the UK and Ireland. He was subsequently the Managing Director of one of the markets largest RPO and MSP providers for 5 years with a responsibility for teams based at multi-locations including client sites both in the UK and in overseas locations including; Europe, India, the Middle East, South East Asia and Australia.  

 

Les joined ARM in 2012 as Managing Director. His experience of professional recruitment includes International RPO and MSP and all aspects of recruitment outsourcing and contingent workforce solutions. He has been responsible for the development of strategic recruitment solutions within the international arena, including organisational development and reorganisation for large multi-national blue chip organisations across sectors including banking and financial services, technology, telecoms and electronics.

 

Les is experienced in all aspects of business and commercial development having headed sales, operations, finance and IT functional departments within small, medium and large recruitment and HR services organisations. He is a past Board member of the HR Outsourcing Association.

 


 

Lynda Ennis

Lynda Ennis

Managing Director, ARM International

 

Based at ARM’s Bournemouth office, Lynda has ultimate responsibility for our International eCommerce and iGaming business. Her remit is to expand ARM operations across Europe, America and other priority locations, supporting existing customers and developing new accounts.

 

This includes working closely with select clients to establish robust, quality systems and processes, driving internal team performance and directing the Corporate Account Management team. It also includes leveraging additional third party support and developing partnerships where appropriate to deliver best in class service levels.

 

Lynda has more than 20 years’ experience working within the human capital and talent management arena at Director level and above, and has delivered initiatives including enhancement of on-boarding processes, creation of national and international call centres, workforce optimisation, introduction of risk and reward models to encourage performance and delivery of strategic level outplacement services.

 

Lynda has sat on the global sales council of a top 2 international recruitment firm and run her own successful Executive Search firm. She is passionate about helping people to develop their careers and runs a highly successful women’s networking group that engages senior level business women from across the UK, North America and Asia. She has reached the final six in the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year award.

 


 

John Dunaway

John Dunaway

Engineering Sales Director

 

In his words, John’s “first real job” was in recruitment in March 1999, and after 3 years as a consultant in Construction Trades & Labour, he left to start his own business. That company started trading January 2003 and John built it into a decent small business of 6 employees. 18 months in, he knew his heart was more in sales management than operations so he met with various recruitment companies.

 

He has been at ARM since mid 2004 and truly loves his job. As he says, “we have a successful company that still has lots more to achieve, a professional business environment with a culture of open communication and teamwork, and products and service that are high quality, efficient, and highly profitable”.

 

John has always been passionate about nurturing an entrepreneurial spirit within his staff, getting the best out of teams and building strategies to deliver a successful end product. After several years of great success as a Senior Manager at ARM in which his teams repeatedly won awards (both externally for quality and within the company for performance) John was made a Director. He now has overall responsibility for all of ARM's Engineering Service Delivery and Contingency recruitment, overseeing the continued quality, best practice, service levels, and continued growth for this side of the business.

 

He loves spending time with his family, road running and is a big music fan.

 


 

Andy Tyers

IT Sales Director

 

With over 25 years’ experience of working within the IT recruitment industry, Andy has extensive knowledge of implementing sales strategies, increasing turnover and profit margins with full responsibility of P&L lines, leading and managing successful IT sales teams, developing lasting business relationships and winning new business. He has been responsible for managing teams that deliver high-volume, PSL and Managed Service accounts.

 

As ARM’s IT Sales Director, Andy is responsible for the sales and delivery of contract and permanent IT recruitment services to existing and prospective new clients and the development of sales teams and the consultants within them. 

 

Andy’s reputation is one that has been built on delivering what he promises and he takes pride in his honest and ‘can do’ approach with both clients and candidates.

 

As a hands-on business sales leader, Andy has built successful teams based on best practice principles. Over the course of his career he has shown a knack for identifying talented individuals and helping them to progress into management and board level positions.

 

Outside of work Andy enjoys all sports, and in particular is a keen rugby and cricket fan.

 


 

Simon Welch

Simon Welch FIRP FPRC

Operations & Quality Manager

 

Simon has worked in the recruitment industry since 1995 and has an in-depth knowledge of the market from both a company and candidate perspective. In the 15 years prior to his recruitment career, Simon gained invaluable experience working within the defence and commercial manufacturing industries.

 

Simon has a comprehensive understanding of the recruitment industry with a detailed approach to quality, process and analysis. Simon takes pride in ensuring ARM delivers solutions in a professional and efficient way above expectations.

 

When not at work Simon’s hobbies and interests include weight training, motor sport, football, rugby, HiFi, home cinema and good food.
